TuneRanger Updates Ready: b270 for Mac and b271 for Windows
October 5th, 2007New beta releases of TuneRanger network sync for iTunes and iPod are now available for immediate download.
The new updates are recommended for all TuneRanger users.
IMPORTANT: These builds are a “matching set.” Please upgrade all computers you wish to synchronize with the appropriate OS platform version.
It is very important during the Beta period for you to remove earlier versions of TuneRanger before installing the new ones. On Mac OS X, open the Applications folder, drag the TuneRanger application to the trash, and then empty the trash before running the new installer. On Windows, remove the old version using the “Add/Remove Programs” control panel before running the new installer.

KEY CHANGES/FIXES/IMPROVEMENTS
- Fixed several bugs in the new metadata (ratings, playcounts, etc.) synchronization.
- Fixed the last played date so it works with European format dates.
- Fixed sync issues between Mac and Windows and certain mp3 files.
- Fixed an issue on PowerPC Mac where the playlist would be doubled.
- Minor interface changes.
